I love sunlit still lifes. The bounce light from one object to another, the glow, the vibrant colors ....is like magic to me.

Prince Of Bel Air

It has been raining for 3 days! I wanted to paint something bright. I recently took pictures at a local car show and have been waiting to paint one. Thank you rain, this has been the week.

Another new small 4x12 that will be at our Open House Thursday. Hope you can join us!

Open House

These are a couple of my newer small paintings. I will have them at our Holiday Open House this Thursday at the Tannery from 3-8pm. I often do these small versions to establish ideas for my larger paintings. It is a great way to work out colors and compositions and they end up turning out to be little gems! Come join us Thursday for a little holiday cheer.

Emerging

I am honored to announce my painting "Emerging" has been accepted into the International Association of Pastel Society's show. This was a rose from the garden I quickly put in a glass. The sunlight from the kitchen window came streaming in and it was a ta-dah moment!

Sneak Preview
