Open House
These are a couple of my newer small paintings. I will have them at our Holiday Open House this Thursday at the Tannery from 3-8pm. I often do these small versions to establish ideas for my larger paintings. It is a great way to work out colors and compositions and they end up turning out to be little gems! Come join us Thursday for a little holiday cheer.

Emerging
I am honored to announce my painting "Emerging" has been accepted into the International Association of Pastel Society's show. This was a rose from the garden I quickly put in a glass. The sunlight from the kitchen window came streaming in and it was a ta-dah moment!

October Walk
I had painted a smaller version of this during the Gwinnett Parks Challenge and
really liked the composition. I made some color shifts and painted it in a 30x40 format of the same scene. This will hang in a solo show at Snellville City Hall starting November 1st.

Glimpse Of Autumn
We had a great weekend in the mountains. Always great to go for a walk and find beautiful scenes at every turn.

Hay Day
I went out with a group of fellow painters to paint a new park. I was feeling a little guilty because I knew I had one more tractor painting to do. While I was painting along came a tractor (from the company I am doing the commissions for) to mow the pasture. I got the hint and came home and painted this last one.
