Tractors, Tractors

These are a couple of commission pieces I have been working on for a corporate art project. The paintings are being mounted on a piece galvanized steel with a laser cut logo. I am excited to see it all together.

Apple Farm

Thrilled to have this piece accepted into the Hudgens Juried Exhibition. Opening reception is September 22nd from 2-4pm.

The Little Shed

Shared a beautiful Saturday morning with some fellow artists painting McDaniel Farm, which is the last park in our series. Please join us September 15th at Tannery Row Artists Colony to see all the works in the Gwinnett Parks Plein Air Challenge. The opening reception will be from 6-9pm. Come see the parks through the artists eyes.

This has been a fun piece to work. It is a total of ten feet long and 12 inches high.

Parks Challenge

These are a couple of my plein air studies from the Gwinnett Parks Challenge. The first is from George Pierce Park and the second is from Jones Bridge Park. We are having a great time painting the parks. I had no idea how big and beautiful all the parks around us are.

First Light

Early morning painting. I loved the way the light came up and warmed the landscape. I am pleased that this one won a
2nd place in the Inside/Out Show currently showing at the Tannery.

Bloom

I am honored to be one of the artists selected to participate in the new "Bloom" exhibit running at the Hudgens Center for the Arts through May 17th. It is a beautiful exhibition.

I was very pleased to have my work accepted into the Southeastern Pastel Society's 15th Juried International Exhibition to be held at Oglethorpe University Museum of Art in Atlanta, GA May 17 - June 12.
