First Light

Early morning painting. I loved the way the light came up and warmed the landscape. I am pleased that this one won a
2nd place in the Inside/Out Show currently showing at the Tannery.

Bloom

I am honored to be one of the artists selected to participate in the new "Bloom" exhibit running at the Hudgens Center for the Arts through May 17th. It is a beautiful exhibition.

I was very pleased to have my work accepted into the Southeastern Pastel Society's 15th Juried International Exhibition to be held at Oglethorpe University Museum of Art in Atlanta, GA May 17 - June 12.

First Snow

I love all the beautiful colors reflected in the snow when the sun is out. The first snow of the season always seems a little more special. There is always a little excitement when that first blanket of white covers the landscape.

The Race

I found some chart maps of the lake and used some photos that were taken at the Atlanta Yatch Club Race a few weeks ago. I love the combination.

Sunny Side Up

I can't always get outside to paint so sometimes I go for simple things around the house like ....breakfast!

Up The Creek

I was painting in the North Georgia mountains this weekend. It was such a delight. The mountain streams are so clear and beautiful this time of year.

Lake Point

Another beautiful day at the lake. I really loved the translucency of the water in this one.

A Day At The Lake SOLD

I am working on a series of lake paintings for our upcoming show in Gainesville. This is one of several. Tomorrow the Atlanta Yatch Club is holding a race at Lake Allatoona. So I am hoping to do a couple with beautiful sailboats in them.
