Falling Waters

This is from a beautiful area we often hike in the North Georgia Mountains. Always a treat to see it after being on the trail for awhile.

Spiritual Water

Went out to the Monastery Of The Holy Spirit to paint. It is a completely sustainable farm run by Trappists monks. Always feel a little spiritual when painting, but even more so today.

Dinner And A Show

Back in December, I had the good fortune to paint at The Shops Of Buckhead as a promo for the upcoming Olmsted. It was a fun night with carolers and hot chocolate. It was a get way to kick off the holiday season.

A Walk Along The Shed

Had a great day yesterday painting at Ponce City Market. It was a promotion for the Olmstead Plein Air Event. It is amazing to see what the developers have done with the Old Sears Building.

Sperata's Backdoor

Another one of Buford's gems. The backdoor at Sperata is where all the "family" enters....the cooks, the wait staff and the musicians. The backdoor is where the heart of Sperata finds their way in.

Alley Rally

Still enjoying the beautiful nuances that take place in Buford's back alleys. One of the artists told me they use to have parties behind the galleries on these backstreets and called them "Rally in Alley".

Buford Alley's

I am so privileged to have my studio in a town so rich with history. Turn of the century mansions down some streets and these beautiful gems down the side streets. I can only imagine the stories that have been told down these alleyways.

Railroad Crossing

My studio is right across the the street from this railroad crossing. It is a common and comforting sound to hear the train 3 or 4 times a day at the studio. It seemed only appropriate to pay homage to our Buford tracks.

Dancing Leaves

Room With A View

I often hear "I wonder how those paintings would look in my house?" So I thought I would share a couple. The later are the last sixteen years of Christmas cards I have been doing for the same client.
