Fireflies

This was my second entry for Tannery Row Artists Colony's, "Music In Me". It was based on Owl City's "Fireflies. My nephew posed for this one. He is always so joyful. I won an honorable mention for this Saturday night (probably because he's so cute!)

New Shoes

I LOVE new shoes! We will have a show at Tannery Row Artist Colony titled "The Music In Me". This is one of my pieces inspired by Paolo Nutim song "New Shoes". If you get a chance stop in and see all the wonderful art each inspired by a song. ( Maybe even do little toe tapping). Sitting Pretty

I was tickled to have three of my paintings chosen for the South Cobb Alliance Show at the Mable House.
"Sitting Pretty" was selected for the postcard show invitation. The show will open October 16th

Lee's Barn

I was excited to receive 2nd place on this piece of "Lee's Barn" at the current Art Station Show. The show will run through the end of August. The barn is about 2 miles from our home. It was painted on location or "plein air".

Ordinary Pleasures

"Ordinary Pleasures" is a 20x22 pastel . I'll be delivering it to the Southeastern Pastel Society International Juried Exhibition next week at Oglethorpe University. Anyone in the area is welcome to attend the reception. There will be some beautiful pastels there. Here's the info:
